Instructional Designer

Our biotech client is in need of an instructional designer to join their team.

• Conducts needs analyses using accepted methods such as surveys, direct observation, and focus groups

• Creates course content outlines in collaboration with assigned Subject Matter Experts (SME).

• Designs and develops course, module and lesson storyboards in collaboration with SME’s.

• Collects and analyzes content required for development of objectives, including, but not limited to:

Text, graphics, animations, audio, glossary terms, activities, and test questions for training materials

• Develops classroom training materials in industry-standard tools, including Word, PowerPoint, or other required formats.

• Programs computer-based instructional materials using industry-standard tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, and other tools.

• Captures software screens and programs for interactive hands-on activities in Captivate, Camtasia, or other required formats as assigned.

• Tests navigation for instructional materials and interactive activities.

• Develops written and hands-on skills and knowledge assessments to determine student mastery of course learning objectives.

• Develops course evaluation vehicles to elicit feedback from trainees

• Completes course QA process

• Other duties as assigned

Articulate Storyline, Audacity or Adobe Audition, audio editing, Camtasia, video editing, Microsoft Office Suite

Prefer Master's degree in Instructional Design or Education; or equivalent related work experience
