Infographics Manager

We've got a fantastic opportunity here at Harvard Business Review. We're doing so many new things across platform boundaries between print, web, Ipad and smartphone apps.

Of course as we are growing, so is the role of visualizing ideas, and devising infographics across all these platforms. It's a great time to be here.

HBR is looking for a three day a week graphics editor. Someone who has enough experience and journalistic smarts to pull together rigorous data and research, but also someone who is visually smart, who can see the potential for graphics and who can delve into raw material and see the visual potential.

This role would be a real bridging role in the Harvard Business Review Group.

I'd love to find somebody to slot into our team at HBR.

To be more specific.

It's initially budgeted as a three day-per week role, but we are happy to be flexible and meet with all sorts of candidates. (or the candidate could work full time on a six month contract with the potential to extend).

We are looking for a visually/data oriented editorial person to work 50% for digital/online and 50% for print-based ideas.

We need someone who is really sharp and energetic, who can look at at raw articles, or papers, and see the graphic storytelling potential.

AND bring lots of ideas to the table about how to tell a visual story. How to improve the understanding and delight for our readers.

AND hunt down the necessary information to produce the end product.

AND work seamlessly between editors and designers.

We are not looking for a 'graphics artist'. We are looking for an ideas person who can complete the circle between ideas and graphic insights.
