eCommerce User Generated Content Program Manager
Location- Addison, TX (onsite only. local candidates only)
Hourly pay rate- $22-24
Type- Long term contract engagement

Our eCommerce client is looking for a highly energetic and skilled User Generated Content Program Manager who will successfully develop and implement a global user generated content program for its Community and Social Media department.

He/she will join a team focused on driving online social engagement and online conversation. The UGC program manager will be primarily in charge of developing UGC content. As part of the community and social media team he/she will also be part of a team focused on using all social tools available to drive social eCommerce. This person should have a passion for driving conversational content in terms of forum discussions, blogs, wikis, and online video. He/she will be creative and have the ability to develop communication and incentive-type programs to generate content.

This is a global role and he/she will deploy his/her innovate programs for Europe, North America and Asia.
This position reports directly to the Director of Community and Social Media

Core responsibilities

• Develop an integrated user generated content program that will leverage our internal products, services and “experts” to drive original compelling social content to our social channels
• Ability to develop and manage a “how-to” video “experts” program. This would require the person to drive internal relationships to get our experts on video and as well as some comfort level with video software, and managing the post production of the video
• Manage the ratings and reviews content program to drive more reviews from customers and suppliers. This would include the development of communication plans to key audiences and incentive programs to drive engagement.
• Develop innovative content marketing programs to drive user-generated content from our customers, employees and suppliers. This can be done through our online forums, blog and social marketing strategies

• Ability to write. Precise, proven written communication skills are a must. Being an excellent writer is one thing; you should love language, as well. Great candidates will have experience developing brand voice and tone for globally-recognized services/brands.
• Content Editing. Demonstrated editorial experience — including fostering strong relationships with contributors and collaborators — is a must.
• Curate. You love to curate both user-generated and editorial content to create a cohesive, accurate product experience that is authentic, diverse and transparent
• Video. You enjoy being behind the camera, producing and editing content to develop how-to videos from our key audiences
• Ratings and Review Manage the ratings and reviews program

The eCommerce Community Manager will ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree preferably in a high tech field

• 1 to 3 years of experience managing, driving and implementing online user generated content or social marketing programs ideally for mid to large cap company.
• Content development and editorial experience for social channels
• Project Management experience, ideally with international environment with multiple stakeholders.

These skills may be achieved through experience and formal training or certification programs.
Some of the critical skills desired include:
• Demonstrated passion for social media and online communities
• Solid understanding of the use of social media and mobile apps, including Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn, Google+
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Attention to details
• Facilitation & Presentation skills
• Ability to develop user generated “how-to” videos with “experts” and stakeholders
• Prioritization skills, organization skills and ability to meet tight deadlines mandatory
• Proven customer service and communication skills
• English - fluent
