eCommerce Sr. Manager

The eCommerce Sr. Manager will be responsible for driving sales in all aspects of the DTC businesses, with particular emphasis on our ecommerce business.
In particular, driving channel sales to meet financial targets by creating and executing growth strategies, merchandising all sites, and working closely to ensure operations support sales and profitability goals.

Must have a merch and e-comm. background.
Must have experience in LARGE companies.
This is a $40MM+ volume brand.

Primary Responsibilities:

• In partnership with the Vice President, work to create ecommerce strategy to drive financial results and bring brand to life on the web.
• Work cross functionally with retail partners to ensure synergy and consistency between the customers experience with ecommerce and boutiques. Leverage channel differences as appropriate and determines appropriate tradeoffs while still keeping brand priorities.
• Set appropriate merchandising vision and selection needed to meet or exceed financial goals and customer expectations. Analyze sales and business trends to create merchandising enhancements and mid-season adjustments as appropriate.
• Manage, execute, and enhance sales for infomercial channel.
• Work closely with digital/email marketing to ensure alignment between ecommerce and online marketing creative efforts, and with North America Marketing to ensure alignment between offline efforts and online support.
• Monitor and analyze sales results and customer and site data reporting to make fact based decisions and create action oriented plans to drive strategy.
• Work closely with Operations and Technology partners to ensure effic8ient and effective ecommerce functionality and profitability. Identify and create solutions/alternative when systems limitations impede maximum sales potential. Work directly with external vendors as needed, and in partnership with IT as appropriate.
• Work with BE Customer Service team to monitor quality of customer service experience and phone sales levels and KPIs. Identify opportunities for improvement and work with Education and Customer Service teams to implement additional training and monitor results.
• Support other departments such as Brand, Artistry, Events with online presence. Work with those departments to develop appropriately prioritized and resourced activities t support their efforts, and execute those efforts.

Requirements:
• 5 years of ecommerce-related strategy and merchandising work experience
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
• Great communicator and high level influencing skills.
• Self-starter, leader, staff and project management experience
• Proven track record of developing and implementing ecommerce strategy
• Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills; ability to effectively work in an environment with multiple “dotted line” relationships
• Professional maturity and presence to represent the company and effectively manage external vendors
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities and allocate resources effectively to focus on critical tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills: MS Office Suite required, Photoshop, HTML
