eCommerce Product Manager

Our client, a leading financial media organization, is looking for a talented eCommerce Product Manager needed to develop and enhance the payments platform for their website and support circulation and commerce initiatives across the organization.

As a Product Manager, you are a flexible, results-oriented and experienced leader who has visionary product insight, significant technical expertise and extensive leadership and business skills. You combine a great instinct for developing compelling products with a strong focus on user experience, collaboration with marketing and technical partners and analytics.


  • Understand, gather, and document concise user, business and product requirements for payment products in an eCommerce environment.

  • Assess user experience and work with design on most effective flows

  • Collaborate with Circulation Marketing and Technology on the creation and delivery of eCommerce strategy and roadmap

  • Inform the roadmap with new ideas to enhance existing functionality or introduce new products or features.

  • Communicate effectively throughout the organization on status, issues, and results

  • Subject matter expert on your products, best practices, competition and latest industry trends and regularly track product success metrics

  • Manage backlog to ensure requests are captured, prioritized, and communicated

  • Evaluate pros and cons of different choices and understand tradeoffs between scope and time to market

  • Effectively partner with stakeholders through the product lifecycle including Engineering, Project Management, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service

  • Be able to work efficiently in a constantly changing and growing environment where the process is fluid and creative and unique solutions are desired

  • Requirements

  • 5+ years online eCommerce product management experience, preferably with a subscription product

  • Have experience with global eCommerce and multicurrency products

  • Demonstrated success leading, defining, and launching eCommerce products

  • Ability to gather user and business requirements and convert them into a winning product vision. Ability to communicate vision to marketing, design and development teammates

  • Demonstrated leadership with cross-functional teams, and the ability to gain cooperation from others at all levels

  • Strong sense of urgency and comfort in a fast paced environment
