The role of the eCommerce Merchandising Assistant is to support the day to day merchandisingHelps coordinate new product creation and supports efforts to optimize web presentation.
operations for the client's Supplier Direct Fulfillment Program (SDF), also known as drop-ship.
Ensures all product information is complete and suitable for internal and external systems. This
includes product specifications, pricing, images, and content.
Monitors the creation and maintenance of new products, categories, and suppliers.
Supports the management of product assortment uploads to product management systems.
Helps with the development and implementation of merchandising plans for new and existing
Assists with the evaluation of category performance against strategic objectives.
Support other SDF teams such as marketing, OnBoarding, procurement, retail, supply chain, and
Bachelor?s Degree preferred
1-2 years of previous eCommerce merchandising, marketing, or vendor relations experience.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.
General knowledge of Product Management and ERP systems.
Knowledge of retail and eCommerce markets.
Knowledge of the drop-ship/supplier direct fulfillment process.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Possess excellent time management, organizational, problem solving skills.
Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes.
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task on a daily basis.
Individual must be a positive team member, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
