eCommerce Merchandiser, Entry Level

The Global Online Team is looking to hire an Online Store Manager to lead the online marketing and merchandising strategy for North America site. Reporting into the Senior Manager of eCommerce for North America, this person will be based in Redwood Shores HQ and be responsible for driving revenue through site merchandising, promotions, experimentation, personalization and optimized content management for the North America eCommerce site.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background working within the gaming market and have a deep understanding of eCommerce practices and channels; a well-rounded online marketer with expertise in all aspects of eCommerce merchandising and site management processes.

Responsibilities of this role may include:

• Site Merchandising – own product, pricing and feature strategy to maximize conversion and revenue for their assigned Titles and Programs
• Define catalogue and pricing strategy and roadmap
• Drive the site promotional and editorial calendar:
• Drive and prioritize marketing and promotional campaigns on the site according to business priorities.
• Interface with our retail sales and label marketing teams to align promotions
• Program and optimize product cross-sell and up-sell placements on our sites
• Collaborate with label marketing and other business groups to support marketing campaigns and promotions through customized user flows, campaign pages, etc.
• Optimize site search programming
• Experimentation –design, run, and analyze A/B, funnel and other testing to determine and implement site capability and user experience improvements as well as optimal merchandising programs.
• Content management – oversee content including text, imagery and interactive and social tools.

This includes:
• Ensure quality of all content on site
• Outline a content optimization strategy to maximize conversion and identify required capabilities to improve content targeting/personalization

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Combined 0-4 years of Site Management experience or Online Sales/Marketing experience
• Understanding of electronic software download channels
• Expertise in eCommerce best practices and trends
• Understanding of the entertainment sector and a natural affinity with the videogames sector as a whole is a strong plus.
• Appreciation for effective web architecture and user experience strategies
• Passion for innovation and problem-solving
• Demonstrated experience developing measurable roadmap of web features and content to drive conversion, utilizing testing and industry best practices
• Customer-centric mindset, with previous experience marketing to the consumer segment
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• College-grad, shops online, DNA with social media
