eCommerce Marketing Manager

Ideally talent will have more B2B experience than B2C retail. This position is NOT an SEO/SEM management role. We are looking for this person to be responsible for tactical operations, merchandising & content management of a global Ecommerce website and must possess robust analytical abilities. You must have strong business and marketing acumen that allows you to identify and react to emerging trends to ensure the most effective site merchandising and conversion optimization. You make informed, but swift decisions and communicate skillfully. 

This is a hybrid position involving both eCommerce Marketing Management and work with Websphere on a day-to-day basis. Having a strong tech background is not a requirement.

-Drive & deliver customer and competitive insights and Ecommerce initiatives, online merchandising and content strategy based on brand strategy, and continuously test changes to determine impact to conversion and the overall customer experience.

-Understanding of and hands on use of A/B testing platforms Ability to suggest and participate in A/B testing.

-Optimize product sales using web metrics i.e. average order value, conversion rates, gross margin and other key metrics.

-Understanding of content management (AEM), Ecommerce management systems (Websphere Commerce preferred) and processes for sophisticated merchandising placements.

-Conduct competitive analysis of competitors' sites, and stay current on Ecommerce best practices; make site project / enhancement recommendations in order to improve the customer experience, site conversion rates, and total revenue.

Roles & responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

o Mine analytics data and customer feedback to identify opportunities to lift conversion

o Create and prioritize a roadmap of test ideas based on potential ROI 

o Conceive and execute A/B testing campaigns, monitor results and document learnings

 Responsible for product placements, merchandising effectiveness, promotional & brand content publishing

 Hands on experience with A/B or multivariate testing tools

 Use IBM Websphere Commerce Management Center to implement merchandising strategies.

 Create a scalable merchandising strategy that can be leveraged globally to achieve company goals. 

 Business performance tracking and review

 Provide business and process optimization recommendations

 Bachelor degree required, MBA preferred. 

 Around 4-8 years of Ecommerce / Internet Marketing Management.

Candidate must be able to work ONSITE in the Stamford office at least 3 days a week.
