eCommerce Manager/Buyer

Our client, a National Retailer, is looking for an eCommerce Merchandiser with extensive Buying experience to join their team on an extended contract (with medical, dental, 401k benefits). In this position, you will be working on three specific lines of business: Lighting, Storage/Organization and Frames/ Wall Art & Décor. Our client is growing their drop ship business and they need a candidate with buying experience to help them accomplish this!

You will be responsible for the following tasks on a daily basis:

• Merchandising of the site
• Homepage, Email, tab and ecat linking instructions & proofing
• Shop sku lists
• Monday morning demand/ sales reporting
- Create reporting templates as needed
- Run and print all needed reports
- Set up and populate Event recapping sheets as warranted
- Speak to business in weekly business meetings
• Manage online pricing process
- Enter owned and drop ship promos as needed to support company promotions
- Work with ecom content & marketing teams for homepage, GPS, category & product page messaging to support company promotions
• Manage Line List process
- Owned Skus: Once departmental line lists are complete for upcoming season, fill in ecom line list with all details needed and pass off to retail merchant team for completion
• Follow up on timely completion of the line list so that copy turnover meeting can be held
• Drop Ship Skus
- Determine needs for expanded online assortments
- Work with vendors on drop ship assortment and/or creating custom drop ship assortments
- Once drop ship assortment has been finalized, complete line list with needed details and forward to vendor for completion
• Once complete, forward to production for sku set up
• Work with vendor to upload all images onto FTP site for production or gather samples for photography
• Work with vendor and eBay partners to ensure inventory levels are uploaded
- Set up process for the management of Drop Ship stock levels
• Work with drop ship vendors to best determine system for communication of stock levels
• Hide/ unhide as needed based on inventory levels
• Manage communication for discontinued/ dropped drop ship skus between vendor and WM
• Manage Drop Ship Vendor MD Allowance process
- Request vendor participation for company promotions by season
- Pull results at end of events and send request for agreed upon MD allowance to vendors
- Follow up with credit memo receipt and/ or check receipt and submit to Accounts Payable
• Manage Bazaar Voice Review process
- Share with retail merchants/ IM / QA
- Request Customer Service to assist with customer as needed
