eCommerce Manager / Web Strategist

Our client is seeking an eCommerce manager / web strategist with 5-10 years experience defining and executing the successful online marketing and eCommerce strategy for multi-million dollar companies. Conceptualize and orchestrate innovation, customer experience, and cross-channel strategy for consumer and business-to-business eCommerce sites. Proven ability to lead marketing, sales, and technology initiatives to drive revenue growth and ROI, increase customer acquisition, expand brand awareness, and strengthen market share.

Job Duties:
• Responsible for the design/usability overhaul of our client's site to foster increased conversion, enhanced user experience, and better alignment with their brand. This includes overseeing site merchandising and optimization of creative assets (videos, creative assets, reviews).
• Oversee and execute online promotional efforts by working collaboratively with coders, designers, and copywriters
• Manage email and social media communication efforts for both B2B and B2C channels, and disseminate these pieces via email, Facebook, Twitter, etc. This includes initial email marketing and remarketing efforts.
• Manage the strategy, execution, and deployment of search engine display ads, working closely with our outside agency to increase AOV and ROAS for paid search efforts.
• Analyze Omniture analytics to make sound business decisions and implement efforts to maximize opportunities.
• Report program results to senior management on a consistent basis.

Experience:
• eCommerce marketing background
• Experience in SEM/paid search, affiliate marketing, and online display advertising
• Expertise in SEO and able to make recommendations to increase conversion
• Working knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, and other web development tools
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Experience using email deployment platforms such as Bronto or Dream Mail
• Thorough knowledge of tracking and analytics software such as Omniture or Google Analytics
• Well-versed in online best practices, trends, and technologies
• Collaborative spirit and hands-on approach to projects and initiatives

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
• 5-10 years eCommerce marketing management experience
• Experience managing people and teams

NOTE: Hired candidate will have to travel to Chicago this summer to train with the eCommerce team for a few days in July or August as well as once a quarter.
