eCommerce Manager- You'll help this multi billion dollar French company get its eCommerce off the ground. They've only been doing eCommerce for a few years and the opportunity to develop eCommerce is tremendous. Client would like to see candidates who have both eCommerce and brick and mortar experience. You'll manage 2 people and eventually a few more. Qualified candidates will be skilled in: digital marketing, driving adoption awareness, gathering specs and developing tactical email marketing campaigns.

Report To: VP, Digital & Innovation for North America

We are looking to hire an eCommerce Manager to join our US eCommerce team. This role will be responsible for our e-commerce roadmap and business acquisition & retention strategies. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about solving problems and driven to design exceptional consumer experiences. The ECommerce Manager is responsible for monitoring and reporting the day to day ecommerce analytics and overall ecommerce customer experience for the brand’s website.
To succeed, you will be someone with a strong sense of ownership for your work. You should be skilled at transforming ideas into clear and complete functional specifications.

This role will be reporting directly to the VP, Digital & Innovation for North America. The job is full-time hours, based in Dallas, TX. This is a contract to hire position.

The ECommerce Manager will be responsible for:

• Support both Ecommerce team and Brand/Marketing team in managing all aspects of Ecommerce including day-to-day email, homepage, marketing, content and promotional planning
• Monitor online and mobile shopping trends, and maintain knowledge of competition and opportunities
• Continuously gauge usability and content effectiveness by gathering and analyzing data to make recommendations based on those results.
• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
• Work with IT and eCommerce project manager to ensure production deadlines are being communicated and met and daily workflow process is optimized.
• Manage customer reviews, FAQs and coordinate with customer service and operations teams.
• Initiate, motivate, and align activities across Sales, Digital, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Supply Chain, and Trade, to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in critical aspects of eCommerce business development.
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
• Leverage eCommerce platform insights to build comprehensive programs to drive consideration, conversion, and retention to achieve business objectives.
• Document customer, business, functional/development requirements, use cases, user persona, measurement plans, s as well as A/B and multivariate testing plans as they relate to feature roll-out.
• Develop strategies and preparation for customer engagement in conjunction with Sales and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Manage monthly dynamic forecasting as reported to HQ.
• Support field-based Sales team members

Ideal Experience
Looking for an executive who is passionate about digital with:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with eCommerce platforms & business models required
• 3+ year of experience working with digital marketing and customer path to purchase preferred
• Ability to manage teams of 2-5 business analysts and mentor junior team members
• Familiarity with electrical distribution or wholesale distribution in a sales or operational role is preferred
• Experience driving process improvements, evaluating problem areas, implementing effective solutions, and building a successful e-commerce business
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing digital/multichannel strategies/businesses
• Excellent networking skills are required in order to obtain market information necessary to anticipate customer needs and interpret the trends that are evolving in the markets Rexel serves
• The position requires highly developed interpersonal skills for negotiations with key stakeholders, such as listening and influencing skills, and relationship management
• Must have the ability to work comfortably across organizational boundaries, and quickly gain the credibility and respect of executives at multiple levels
• Excellent communications skills as well as strong presentations skills
• Strong analytic/problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and creatively
