eCommerce Content Manager

The eCommerce Content Manager will tactically drive optimization for the category brands' eCommerce websites. This person will be responsible for setting up products, updating product info, scheduling campaigns, promotions, site content updates and day to day implementation and optimization of the Demandware eCommerce websites - so prior experience in Demandware is a MUST.

This person will report directly into the eCommerce department and will work closely with the Marketing team, Digital IT Team and Programmer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Content administration and eCommerce platform tools:
• Support the eCommerce team in the management of seasonal, monthly and weekly product, content and administrative updates
• Develop and execute motivating promotions to support seasonal and evergreen priorities; review performance and ROI, and determine implications/recommendations for future campaigns.
• Manage promotional calendar and communication to all team members and gain alignment with Key Stakeholders and Senior Management.
• Troubleshoot customer service and order fulfillment issues across all relevant systems
• Work directly with Marketing Digital Liaisons to support eCommerce and digital efforts in all merchandise site content refreshes and future product/content campaigns.
• Work with IT partners in developing and implementing source code and other tracking strategies to measure all external marketing campaigns and links

Analytics:
• Through analytics and performance reporting, identify opportunities to enhance site experience with new technology and site enhancements by analyzing consumer behavior and key metrics (conversion, shopping cart abandonment, items per order, AOV) and applying insights to future site initiatives and marketing campaigns
• Develop tools such as site performance reports, campaign reports, site content and promotional calendars to optimize ACD’s internal operational efficiencies and performance
• Manage, measure and optimize features and campaigns ensuring alignment with marketing priorities and promotions, using site analytics, insights and testing/QA
• Spearhead recommendations for marketing strategies including CRM, testing, timing, offer testing, and frequency across all digital efforts
• Research industry best practices to maintain optimal site experience, conversion & AOV
• Ad hoc analyses and support on promotional forecasting, creative performance evaluations, onsite personalization, etc.
Site testing:
• Drive and execute QA strategy to continuously improve content and messaging
• Support QA for all content published across the Active Cosmetics Division eCommerce websites

QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 3 years eCommerce experience, with demonstrated capabilities in content management systems, eCommerce platforms and tools, order process & fulfillment and 3rd Party software (Demandware Business Manager, CoreMetrics, Google Analytics, Exact Target, Harte Hanks, Unica)
• Must have experience in Demandware
• Excellent knowledge of on-page SEO factors, including inspecting HTML code
• Demandware (Business Manager) experience is strongly preferred
• Experience in planning and implementing logical site architectures and successful link building campaigns
• Experience in best practices of testing, optimization and drivers of online conversion
• Sales and performance driven
• Proven track record of developing and executing strategies and delivering commercial results
• Highly organized with excellent (visual and written) communication skills and a collaborative nature
• Excellent project and time management skills; ability to effectively multi-task in deadline-oriented environment
• Exposure to beauty/lifestyle and/or luxury/fashion retail a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated but also a great team player
• Bachelors degree required (in marketing, merchandising or other business/fashion degree preferred)
