eCommerce Catalog Specialist

Hope you're well! We are currently working two exciting roles in northern Chicago where they are looking for an eCommerce Catalog Specialist to join their team through 2018, 40 hours/week, with potential to turn extend. This role is based out of the client's headquarters in Northfield, IL. This is an entry-level job and will look at candidates right out of college with experience working in Excel on Pivot Tables and knowledge of eCommerce.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting one of the Client's largest eCommerce businesses in delivering exceptional business practices and results.
  • Manage and update the online catalog, including new product setup
  • Maintain and optimize existent product assortment
  • Execute best in class eCommerce principles
  • Own and manage internal business processes, including informing catalog and operations decisions, and exceptional management of external customer communications
  • Work cross-functionally with customer service, sales, and category management on execution of eCommerce fundamentals
  • Setup new products with focus on SEO optimized content
  • Manage all content updates, including images, descriptions, and advanced eCommerce content
  • Identify and implement pricing updates with the customer
  • Work with Sales leads to optimize product assortment
  • Address and manage all customer requests on catalog related issues
  • Support delivery of aggressive sales goals


Qualifications:

  • Consumer Products industry or eCommerce experience STRONGLY preferred
  • MUST be proficient with v-lookup and pivot tables
  • Solid understanding of the key tenets of eCommerce
  • Strong decision‐making ability
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working cross functionally
  • Multi-tasker who can manage multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Fast learner of technical systems, data sources, and processes (Ex. SAP - a plus but can be taught, Vendor Central, Supplier Center, Price Lists, etc.)
