eCommerce Business Analyst/Sr. Web Analyst

Amazing opportunity to be part of a brand new eCommerce department within a well established 70+year old organization.

Scope of Position:
The eCommerce Business Analyst will be a key member of a new business unit with responsibility for all aspects of reporting and analysis for the business unit. This includes website-specific performance metrics, customer behavior metrics, merchandise and product performance, marketing channel performance and all other ad-hoc analysis that needs to be done.

Basic Functions:

  • Design and execution of all aspects of reporting for the new eCommerce platform. This includes daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports.
  • Development, execution and ongoing upkeep of reporting dashboards to keep the company and it's members up-to-date on all eCommerce activity and performance.

    Essential Functions:
  • Work with eCommerce platform provider to design proper and full data structure which will ensure that key data elements are captured and passed from each of their member's website through to the back end of the company's reporting engine.
  • Design and execute the overall reporting structure for the entire platform, across all reporting tools (Google Analytics, company's back-end reporting platform, eCommerce Platform reporting) to include:

  • Website performance metrics
  • Customer behavior metrics
  • Product performance metrics at the category, brand and item level
  • Promotion metrics
  • Provide analysis on the metrics that are being reported on to answer key business questions that will drive increased traffic, revenue and profit for the entire member.com's platform.

    Position Requirements/Skills:
  • Bachelors Degree and at least 8+ years in Consumer Direct Marketing, with extensive experience in eCommerce.
  • Expert with Google Analytics as a tool for reporting and analyzing the day-to-day activities for all of the member.com websites
  • Expertise in managing complex customer databases and campaign management tools.
  • Superior communications skills and above-average ability to work with others in a collaborative way.
  • Expert computer skills including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel as well as databases.
  • Powerfully inquisitive, with a drive to ask questions and more importantly ? find answers.
  • Desire to learn and master new systems.
  • Possess excellent time management, organizational, problem solving skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task on a daily basis.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
