Project Overview: The project scope will encompass managing a suite of existing and new eCommerce products supporting the Cart, Checkout, and Fulfillment business portfolio. The primary focus of this role is on developing best in class checkout experiences for Sears.com and Kmart.com. Typical Daily Responsibilities:
Responsibility for a suite of eCommerce capabilities (products) which support the overall web experience, with accountability for the success of the product suite.
Management of individual product lifecycles, from understanding a concept or the current state, assessing gaps, defining key capabilities, working across the organization to develop requirements, working with Product Management, Engineering and User Experience resources to understand tradeoffs, through product launch and ongoing management.
Use market research, customer surveys, customer feedback, and web analytic data to understand customer and business needs, discovering latent gaps, identifying new opportunities to ultimately define a product roadmap.
Develop cogent and realistic business case scenarios for new product capabilities to rationalize resource investments.
Transform complex concepts into executable plans and customer experiences
Manage product innovation through cross-functional teams focusing on new product capabilities and services.
Anticipate industry and product trends, capability prioritization and tradeoffs, balancing business needs versus technical constraints.
Drive implementation of new vendor / product deployments
