e-Commerce Manager

Our Client needs more seasoned in all aspects of Ecommerce as it relates to the role, but especially in the marketing piece as it regulates to strategy.
*This person will be managing ecommerce vendors, managing things to make more efficient and effective (like program management, paid searches, email campaigns, display network, etc.)
*They need to have a program manmanget type of approach, somebody able to come up with editorial calendar, new props for merchandising, opportunities in their market, etc.
*Someone who will think strategically and have more of a strategic vision in looking to source prospects for new customers.
*Looking for someone who can manage the marketing & projects & relationships


Attention eCommerce Managers! We have a great opportunity to join our small but extremely entrepreneurial and action-oriented team at Educational Insights. In addition to the requirements below, our eagerly awaited candidate will have a can-do spirit, a go-getter attitude and a creative approach to all aspects of this exciting position.

Duties:
- Responsible for the design/usability overhaul of site to foster increased conversion, enhanced user experience, and better alignment with the Educational Insights brand. This includes overseeing site merchandising and optimization of creative assets (videos, creative assets, reviews).

- Oversee and execute online promotional efforts by working collaboratively with coders, designers, and copywriters.

- Manage the strategy, execution, and deployment of search engine display ads, working closely with our outside agency to increase AOV and ROAS for paid search efforts.

- Analyze Omniture analytics to make sound business decisions and implement efforts to maximize opportunities.

- Report program results to senior management on a consistent basis.

- Manage our social media program including Facebook, Twitter & Pinterest.

- Develop editorial calendar for content and promotions.

- Manage email marketing program including creation and deployment of campaigns.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field

- 5-7 years eCommerce marketing management experience

- eCommerce marketing background

- Previous experience managing social media content and programs

- Experience in SEM/paid search, affiliate marketing, and online display advertising

- Expertise in SEO and able to make recommendations to increase conversion

- Working knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, and other web development tools

- Experience managing people and teams

- Superior written and verbal communication skills

- Proficiency in MS Office

- Experience using email deployment platforms such as Bronto or Dream Mail

- Thorough knowledge of tracking and analytics software such as Omniture or Google Analytics

- Well-versed in online best practices, trends, and technologies

- Collaborative spirit and hands-on approach to projects and initiatives
