Digital Marketing Specialist

Our Client, a Global Consultancy is seeking a Marketing Specialist will work in the UK Client Marketing Team and will support the creation and delivery of a marketing programme for Digital division.

The part of the programme driven by the Senior Specialist will focus on driving awareness and consideration for the component parts of the digital story – mobility, analytics, interactive technologies and big data. This is a key part of the overall Digital marketing programme which consists of brand building platforms, industry networking, client relationship building and is particularly content driven.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with experience of and expertise in technology marketing. The successful candidate will be expected to be a team player who can build and manage a range of complex internal stakeholders.

The role will sit within the UK Marketing & Communications team reporting to a Manager and Senior Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside Manager and Senior Manager to develop and deliver a marketing plan to support our digital technologies
• Plan to include brand platforms (including conferences), industry speaking and networking opportunities, liaison with industry bodies, content creation, awards entries
• Ensure that the digital technologies plan supports the overall division of Digital marketing ambitions (must be highly integrated)
• Work with global marketing colleagues
• Supplement global content and activities with local relevance
• Execute variety of programmes in the market
• Work with other internal colleagues including media relations and social media
• Work directly with Managing Directors from across the UKI business
• Ensure that all programmes are evaluated based on agreed metrics and ensure regular reporting

Work Requirements: Minimal travel depending on geographical span

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Solid experience in management and creation of marketing, in particular digital and content marketing, social and internal marketing programmes. Understanding of business issues

• Good understanding of technology industry and digital business areas and industry themes.
• Deep understanding of business content and how to apply to business issues and problems – should have strong writing and creative skills.
• Experience of most elements of relationship marketing and communications, in particular content and digital marketing, social media and internal marketing.
• Experience of supervising support staff, contractors and agencies.
• Understanding and ability to apply marketing concepts, branding and message development skills.
• Project management skills.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and how to maximise usage.
• Relationship building skills and experience of managing complex multiple stakeholders.
• Developing negotiation, mediation and conflict management skills to resolve complex issues.
• Ability to develop and apply creative, workable solutions to project-related issues.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to deliver well-executed deliverables in support of business strategy.
