Creative Technologist

Our client is looking for a Creative Technologist for an 8-10 week project! This role hovers between front end/UI development (rapid prototyping in HTML, responsive) and strong understanding of UX (wireframing, sketching out & testing concepts, working in low/high fidelity prototypes, etc.) You’d be working on redesigning their web app. Someone with data visualization and D3 experience is a BIG plus! The role definitely leans more heavily towards front end development.

You’d be working on their web app – the client has an energy intelligence software that helps their clients/customers visualize their energy use and spend. All customers/clients are commercial, real estate, manufacturing, government, schools, etc. Non-residential essentially.

This role would start around the first week of May and last 8-10 weeks. Onsite in their Boston office at 40 hrs/week.

Full Description:
Interaction Designer/UX: Creative Technologist

Duration: ~2 months
Experience: 3+ years

Candidate will work as part of a small and nimble team (4-5) in a ‘start-up’ lean UX style environment to help create the next generation energy intelligence software. The project goal is to create a clickable web application that tests the UX engagement model, the IA, and key features and functionality, all within a HTML framework both desktop and mobile.

The candidate will be full-time and on-site.
