Join this team as an UX Writer and create easy-to-understand, emotionally engaging content that inspires customer confidence and success.

You will be working on an innovative platform that allows citizen developers to rapidly create powerful web and mobile business apps, automate processes, and improve communication and collaboration. All in a low code/no code environment.

As an UX Writer, you’ll help craft and deliver a top-notch experience. Working throughout the agile product lifecycle, from ideation to implementation, make complex ideas easy to understand and help customers feel proud, productive, and successful using our Web, tablet, and mobile offerings.

What you’ll do
• Help define new user assistance models.
• Write clear and engaging user interface text and user assistance content.
• Provide release notes for monthly product releases.
• Maintain our Knowledgebase by adding/editing articles and managing the comment approval queue.
• Work with the marketing team on customer-facing content.
• Provide scripting guidance for in-product videos.
• Work closely with designers, developers, and QA in an agile development cycle.
• Validate deliverables by performing content reviews, observing usability testing, and responding to customer feedback.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of guidelines for style, voice and tone, and branding.
• Participate in customer feedback and research to study the behaviors, emotions, and goals of customers, generate insights, and then iterate on content and overall design.

Demonstrated ability to speak the customers’ language, leverage and evolve style standards, and infuse creativity and new ideas to create a consistent, stellar customer experience.

In-depth, practical knowledge of modern user assistance principles and best practices, user research methodologies, Web 2.0 and Mobile industry standards and trends.

• Experience writing for interactive web-based applications or products. Experience in writing for Mobile and Tablet devices is highly desirable.
• Experience writing customer-facing marketing collateral.
• Self-motivation to learn the business processes and user needs of any project.
• Sufficient familiarity with HTML, CSS 3, and JavaScript to understand the impact of those technologies on the presentation of content prototypes.
• Experience working and building consensus in agile, cross-discipline teams incorporating creative, technology, strategy and marketing functions.
• Ability to effectively negotiate conflict and persuade others on the merits of a design or other user experience solutions.
• Ability to assess, prioritize and make trade-offs against business, technical, and user constraints.
• Experience writing scripts for short instructional videos or tutorials.
• Superior organizational and time-management skills; demonstrated effectiveness managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with multiple teams simultaneously.
