Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years creative experience in a similar capacity for an entertainment cable network, or broadcast network, advertising agency or creative agency
- Experience and knowledge of the media industry
- Ability to work well under deadlines; manage pressure situations
- Must understand creative strategy and develop work and production pipelines that fulfill project goals.
- Ability to receive and incorporate creative notes at all phases of a project
- Proven team player in collaborative environment
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime and on weekends with short notice when necessary
- Must be able to provide a show reel

Desired Characteristics:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest and awareness of children’s entertainment, pop culture and entertainment (TV, Movies, Kid Brands, etc.)
- Previous experience in writing and producing for a children’s television network or brand preferred
- Assertive, enthusiastic and highly motivated
- Desire to learn and pioneer new systems and techniques in off line and online production

Responsibilities:
Overview: The Writer/Producer of Marketing is a creative force who crafts concepts that effectively communicate brand and marketing strategies with clients’ objectives in creative and compelling ways. This position understands that strategy and creativity go hand-in-hand and strives to find innovative, inspirational, unique and creative ways to deliver marketing and business messages and content. Additional responsibilities include concepting, editing and producing promos, advertising and promotional content that markets and supports the network across all broadcast and media platforms.

Responsibilities:
- Concept, develop and produce breakthrough creative promos, advertising and promotional content and ensure delivery to budget, deadline and quality standards
- Develop creative aspect of projects, campaigns and client materials that includes network priorities, stunts, marketing initiatives, integrated marketing, live events and brand/network image
- Develop creative / innovative brand integration ideas and write pitches for use in soliciting new and existing ad clients
- Act as creative liaison with production team to handle pre-production for field and studio shoots, including but not limited to casting, location scouting, and equipment rentals
- Research new editorial techniques, new and current standards in music, storytelling, graphic design and marketing
- Screen and log show content
- Write scripts, source footage, music, graphics, packaging, imagery and all other creative elements
- Work closely with On Air Creative Services team to ensure consistency and graphics needs for projects
- Maintain consistent brand identity across all projects in consultation and agreement with Strategy Team and Creative Services
- Effectively communicate creative to internal requesting team, ensuring promotional messaging is effective, brand identity is clear and consistent and creative work is of an outstanding quality
- Oversee technical and creative aspects of projects from post production to delivery
