Our client in Downtown San Francisco is looking for a Wordpress Developer to work onsite, 20 hours per week. This position will contract for 4-6 weeks.


The Web Production Developer will work in conjunction with the web marketing and the design team to coordinate, manage, and update marketing content on the client’s corporate website and sub-language sites. The position is responsible for ensuring consistency with the website vision and style guide, while keeping content fresh and dynamic.

Successful candidates will have hands-on experience managing web and content production, as well as understand information architecture and user experience. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded professional with strong customer service focus and committed to delivering innovative, high-quality web interface solutions. Candidates must also be able to work independently, have excellent attention to detail, handle multiple responsibilities concurrently, and work well under deadline pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge and working skils using HTML5, CSS3, WordPress, Magento, and other web-based publishing tools. You will have the ability to learn analytics, SEO best practices, conversion testing, and many other industry-related technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Wire-framing, building, and laying out web pages for web-based promotional efforts, emails, and marketing/editorial content across Anaplan’s public-facing websites (English, French, and others)
• Responsible for working with internal clients to evaluate their content requests, provide constructive feedback, and translate the content to meet marketing best practices
• Support project communications and key milestones; manage and maintain project status
• Partner with content owners and content managers to publish and update site content on time per business priorities and timelines
• Manage individual projects to ensure delivery of objectives and timing
• Build project plans and coordinate with cross-functional team members to ensure deliverables are achieved
• Identify and execute opportunities for improving design, content, and processes
• Utilize web analytics and performance data to recommend strategy and improvements to the sites
• Provide digital graphic production for web marketing assets

Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, PHP, Wordpress, and Magento
• Experience with building, deploying, and updating web content in WordPress and Magento
• Able to troubleshoot functional and layout issues
• Knowledge of email design and layout
• A fascination with "programming for the web" and code in general
• Expert using the Adobe CC Suite
• Mobile web development skills
• Knowledge of the latest trends in responsive design techniques and cross browser
• Experience and proven track record of updating websites by utilizing Wordpress/Magento
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and work on multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Must be self-driven and results-oriented, with the proven ability to problem solve
• Experience working cross-functionally within a team and/or departments, with a keen focus on internal customer service and end-user experience
• Knowledge of animation software a plus
