Our client in West Los Angeles is seeking a website product manager.

Description:
As the product manager, you’d be responsible for driving the company's website innovation and growth. Collect information on business goals and customer needs and translate them into requirements for the website development group. Define, track, and be held accountable to key site performance metrics.

Key Job Qualifications:
• Analyze customer needs, competitive landscape, and marketplace opportunities in order to articulate the opportunity and rationale behind your website product development ideas.
• Work hand-in-hand with online marketing team to design, test and optimize our marketing strategy in order to meet our CPM, CPC and CPA campaign goals.
• Constantly work to improve site conversion rate, and promote a good user experience.
• Write specs for new features or functionality.
• Make cases for site features and business logic using statistical data and industry’s best practices.
• Strong ability to envision and communicate site enhancement requirements to designers. Once approved, lead the development and creative teams in getting projects executed.
• Strong ability to work with developers.
• Ability to discern and prioritize business opportunities from other competing initiatives.
• Solid experience developing and delivering analysis and reports is required. Work with a data warehouse, web analytics, and internal reporting systems.
• Ability to manage the day-to-day site and system issues that come up for the website, including identifying small quick opportunities for improvements or filing requests for bug resolutions.
• Roll-out skills – this person will need to create communication plans and work with and educate internal teams (including customer service) to make sure they understand how the site is changing and improving over time.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, vendors, clients, and other job contacts.

Additional Requirements:
• BA / BS degree in marketing or related field.
• A strong understanding of Internet and business technologies.
• Ability to write and communicate business and functional specifications.
• 5+ years of Internet and/or software product management experience.
• Excellent analytical and statistical skills.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables required; Knowledge of SQL or SAS to analyze data a plus.
• HTML skills, understanding of basic JavaScript, and regular expressions a big plus.
• Basic understanding user experience, interface, and information architecture principles.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to and embrace change.
• Experience in coordinating resources and scheduling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
