Website Optimisation Manager

Firebrand are very excited to be partnering with this rapidly growing start up who are currently searching for an experienced Website Optimisation Manager. Reporting to the Head of Digital, this is a new and exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for driving organic search traffic and converting sales through website optimisation. The website is an integral part of their business, and you’ll be responsible for all aspects to ensure it’s an effective lead generation and acquisition channel.

This broad role will see you owning and driving website content management, website optimisation, website analytics, SEO and execution of content marketing campaigns. On a daily basis you will manage the continual optimisation and improvements of the website to maximise conversion rates, along with improving visibility of the website through natural search rankings.

Key responsibilities:

• Website Content Management: day-to-day coordination and management of the website content
• Website & Funnel Optimisation: drive the continual optimisation and improvement of the website to maximise conversion rates across the lead generation funnel – includes building and executing a CRO plan, data analytics, prospect research, user design and experience, A/B testing and landing page optimisation
• Website & Digital Analytics: champion the website analytics strategy, leading the design and implementation of tools and platforms that monitor, analyse and optimise website activity, traffic trends, SERP rankings, conversion ratios and campaign performance
• Developing and implementing the strategy across all digital marketing assets to drive organic lead traffic to the website. Working with their SEO agency, you’ll drive keyword research, site performance, on-page optimisation and link building campaigns
• Content Marketing: assist with the execution of digital content marketing campaigns that build brand awareness, engages new audiences, builds SEO link value and drive leads to the website
• This role will be responsible for assisting in driving and/or maintaining online ethos
• Responsible for the identification, mapping and implementation of process automation and improvement across the website to ensure consistency, effectiveness and efficiencies
• Knowledge and experience with CMS (WordPress), HTML, JavaScript, Photoshop or Dreamweaver
• Excellent working knowledge of tools such as Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Website Optimise, Tag Manager, Adobe Media Optimiser and Adobe Analytics
• Working knowledge of Salesforce and Pardot desirable
• Seek solutions to current problems
• Introduce ground breaking ideas that have never been considered or implemented

Key Requirements:

• 3 years+ within a similar optimisation focused role, with prior digital marketing experience
• Extensive experience across SEO methodologies and best practices and reporting including managing and driving agencies
• Excellent working knowledge of Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Google Tag Manager
• High level of analysis and design skills
• Ability to understand business requirements, describe them back to the business and facilitate sign-off
• Proficiency in graphic and web design software including Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Illustrator
• Working knowledge across CMS, HTML and JavaScript
