Webcast Studio Engineer - Video Services

Aquent is seeking a highly skilled Webcast Studio Engineer to join our client's Creative Services team in St Louis. In this role, you will plan, design and direct media projects for standard video productions, live events and shoots. Advises stakeholders on pre-production, production and post-production media options and activities. Participates in the development of standards and guidelines. Supports and recommends improvements to processes.

Start Date: As soon as the right candidate is found
Location: Onsite at our client's office in Hazelwood
Hours: Hours will fluctuate depending on project schedule week to week
Duration: 12 months with potential to extend
Job Type: Contract; W2 through Aquent

Responsibilities During Webcast:
-Preconfigure the Video production equipment as needed for the individual webcast requirements.
-Confirm both encoders are receiving signals.
-White Balance and check cameras under studio light.
-Test and configure all additional sources, including tape playback, VTC, computer interface, etc.
-Place and connect the studio monitors as needed.
-Help configure and test the audio board as needed.
-Coordinate with IT if needed for the presentation equipment.

Responsibilities During Event:
-Shade cameras.
-Record the show.
-Operate tape playback.
-Control sound levels in the studio.
-Connect and monitor VTC.

Ongoing, keep up on the latest technology to keep the equipment current.
