Contract Interactive/Web Copywriter
Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years of professional ad agency or in-house web copywriting experience demonstrating the ability to condense often complex content into scannable conversational copy that maintains a consistent brand voice and tone, while simultaneously communicating pertinent information to the designated audience
  • Experience taking direction from lead copywriters, art directors, designers, and brand representatives, and interpreting that direction in a collaborative and timely manner
  • A portfolio illustrating web/email/digital display work
  • Experience interacting with UX/IA leads as well as digital/interactive designers to create content that works seamlessly within the digital space
  • Ability to apply feedback in a speedy manner, but to ask questions if that feedback isn’t clear, or if it doesn’t feel appropriate
  • Ability to proofread quickly and accurately
  • Ability to collaborate and brainstorm conceptual ideas that work across all digital platforms, among a variance of physical sizes and file size limitations
  • Ability to prioritize/manage deadlines and multiple projects
  • Ability to present digital conceptual ideas and content suggestions to team leads
  • Competence using Mac OS and Word
