Web/Graphic Designer

Our client is looking for a Web/Print Designer to join their team. You will work on the digital & print creative needs across multiple communication channels including emails, mobile, ads, online, and more. In addition to a strong knowledge of graphic design you will need to have a strong understanding of the online and digital space, and familiarity with eCommerce. The ideal person will have experience in beauty, fashion, apparel or action sports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create design campaign assets for online, digital and print use keeping in mind the user experience for the online store, driving product conversion/sales, and consumer engagement working within brand guidelines
• Create online and mobile assets (banners, email, product templates, panels, etc) for product launches, holidays, events and promotional activities
• Initiate creative concepts for E-Commerce digital needs with Creative Services team and have the ability to work independently
• Assist in web page design for any updates and/or redesigns to the E-Commerce site, including listing page, product page, or innovative landing page executions
• Participate and support creative direction of any product shoots to meet E-Commerce’s creative needs
• Partner across the Marketing department to leverage shared assets and ensure brand and message consistency across all channels
• Partner with E-Commerce and Marketing teams to generate campaign-based creative assets across the site, thinking holistically regarding creative design and implementation across the entire shopping experience

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management
• Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• BA in Graphic Design is required.
• 5+ years professional experience in web/digital/E-Commerce and print graphic design
• Experience and knowledge of the Adobe design suite/Creative Cloud including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and an understanding of other related design software.
• Strong understanding and application of design, with an online emphasis
• Know-how of print vs. web based files and production processes
• Desire and willingness to learn and take creative and art direction
• Creative thinker and innovator, with a willingness to take risks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, prioritize workloads, manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing business, based on optimization
• Ability to listen, interpret and apply solutions
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter, who can work independently, is extremely organized, driven, high energy, confident, passionate and has a decisive eye for detail.
• General awareness and general knowledge of retail marketing & the U.S. consumer landscape
