Our client, a leading online travel business, is looking for a digital native to join their innovative marketing team in a web analytics role.

You will need to be strongly across seo and sem technologies, but do not need to be a specialist. Rather, you will brief seo specialists on the need of this client so your analytics background is crucial. The role see's you improve the value our client's business can generate from website data. This includes proactively optimizing how they collect, communicate and use analytics to create useful data driven insights around marketing performance, user behaviour and website experience. The intelligence created through this process will assist in directing the company’s digital strategy, efficiency and improving online conversion.

GOALS / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Manage the implementation and efficiency of our Google Analytics tracking across website, mobile and native app properties.
• Manage and execute a reporting strategy that creates opportunity for learning and optimization among all relevant stakeholders.
• Identify data requirements and facilitate its collection to ensure we satisfy reporting objectives.
• Perform ad hoc analysis, both requested by management and through your own initiative; effectively communicating and interpreting results.
• Proactively search for opportunities to improve conversion and user experience on the site; accurately communicating and quantifying these opportunities to the team.
• Monitor referral traffic from all relevant sources; analysing traffic volumes, individual traffic source performance and overall site conversion.
• Actively identify and advise team on new digital marketing opportunities suitable for promoting and advertising Webjet's suite of travel products.
• Monitor competitor activities and report these in a useful way to relevant teams and agencies.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years previous experience in a marketing oriented Web Analyst role
• Significant experience in Google Analytics and Google Adwords
• Appreciation and trained understanding of online consumer behaviour
• Excellent statistical analysis skills
• Strong ability to communicate and present data driven insights
• Proven success in managing and executing SEO strategy; including an understanding of current SEO best practises.
• Advanced understanding and experience in managing ROI from SEM; in particular fluency in managing and reporting on Google Adwords activity is desired.
• Interest and understanding for all major digital marketing mediums (SEM, display adverting, SEO, social media, email marketing)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel for data manipulation, analysis and presentation
