• Responsible for delivering optimal user experiences (UX) in website and email design while implementing effective functionality/navigation, based on industry best practices and consumer insights.
• Expert in today’s changing digital media landscape, and fully versed in building/delivering responsive and adaptive experiences in increasingly digital/mobile world.
• Provides consultation and/or hands-on development and content management for a growing list of AGA’s web properties and marketing landing pages
• Ability to understand and learn proprietary CMS platforms, and assist the marketing technology team with design and marketing needs of apps, and webtech properties (e.g. AgentMax Online).
• Design and code against digital advertising needs such as banners, imagery, icons, audio/video enhancements and other digital entities.
• Design and code email marketing campaigns for both B2C and B2B needs with consideration of usability and variable content applications as they apply to personalization, results analyses and related best practices.
• Takes direction from creative director, plus work collaboratively with team of writers, designers, project managers and internal clients to deliver integrated web-based and non-web-based marketing materials and even conceptual campaigns for B2C, B2B & B2B2C marketing.
• Elevates the company brands and champions quality of work—also able to turn around high volume of work when needed while keeping accurate and up-to-date progress records within our project management software (Workfront).
• Must be a self-starter, able to manage own time, personal workload, and priorities to deliver quality work on schedule.
• Able to assign an accurate level-of-effort on any given task and responsible for raising early flags (to creative director) before his/her workload affects quality.
• Document pertinent web processes including log-in and accessibility requirements; organize all digital assets and materials according to compliance regulations in Workfront.
• Desire and ability to work within both agile and production hybrid environment.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
• Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in web design, coding and some graphic design
• Bachelors in computer/information science, web design, interactive media or related field preferred; similar associates degree with appropriate experience considered
• Proficiency in HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, CMS, JavaScript, Wordpress, general front-end web design / programming, image editing, and digital design.
• Proficiency in creating responsive web and email design for multiscreen experiences—adaptive experience a plus.
• Expected to present design concepts and deliverables to internal clients/executives.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop & Dreamweaver); specific skills should cover web graphic design, design planning, user interface design (UI), security principles, web programming skills, multimedia content development, cross-browser compatibility, Information Architecture (IA), and User Centered Design (UCD).
• Knowledge and utilization of general office software, email marketing and web-based project/task assignment software required (Microsoft Office Suite, Workfront, Silverpop, or similar email marketing software)
• Positive action-oriented attitude and organization skills required to meet/exceed SLAs
• Passion for producing high-quality, well-thought out work with attention to detail in a
fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of travel and insurance or other regulated financial services industries as well as multi-platform mobile app development helpful
