Vitamin T client is looking for a candidate that specializes in working with organizations committed to social good. We use strategic marketing planning + creative execution to motivate social action. We’re small by design and work with a number of very talented partners to help us to do great work for our clients.

What we’re looking for: We need a knowledgeable and innovative Web Specialist to join our fun-loving, hard-working and friendly team. She/he will:

Be responsible for the care and feeding of established client and internal websites, including content upload and maintenance, quality control, construction of new pages, and integration of third-party apps.
Work with our graphic design and marketing teams to help with development, setup and troubleshooting of online tools such as email marketing programs; social media tools and third party apps, Flash-based online advertising; and analytics tools across multiple platforms.
Ensure adherence to best practices, implementation of accessibility standards, and consistency of work with client web standards.

Experience: In terms of your background, you have most, if not all of the following qualifications.

Bachelor’s degree and less than a year to one year experience.
Working knowledge of Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal (or other CMS environment) is a must, and familiarity with Dreamweaver and Contribute is a plus.
Capable with basic web design languages and technologies, i.e. HTML and CSS.
Proven experience developing HTML email templates and messages.
Skilled in use of Photoshop, Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
Proficiency with technical aspects of major social media platforms and online tools (e.g., Facebook apps, Hootsuite or similar, SurveyMonkey or similar, RSS feeds).
Proficiency in digital and social media monitoring and tracking tools and strategies including Google Analytics, link tracking, and social media suites such as HootSuite.
Familiarity with PHP and ASP.NET, JavaScript and MySQL is ideal, though not required.
Ability to test, debug and troubleshoot new and existing web features, services and pages across browsers and some mobile. Familiarity with customizing third-party applications and integrating social media into new and existing websites.
Competence in web optimization work and knowledge of web applications and DHTML leveraged for SEO and cross browser compatibility. Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus.
