Our Global Creative Services Digital team is comprised of design,
development and content specialists who partner with marketing teams
to deliver customer-facing websites.
Aligned seamlessly with digital, brand and marketing strategy we work
to connect our diverse audience with rich portfolio.
This role will be located in London, supporting business partners
driving digital transformation for the enterprise.

Reporting to the Lead Web Publisher, the Author will have day-to- day
project accountability to the Digital Project Manager who is
responsible for the co-ordination of website maintenance and
The web publisher will also work closely with the assigned Content
Strategists who define website structure and organisation of the
content within it.
Position Overview Primary responsibility
 Authoring AEM websites
 Building Campaign Landing Pages - within AEM, Form Tool
or Eloqua.
 Building Emails - within Eloqua
 Digital Oversight & Governance
o Ensuring that new digital properties are captured
within Digital Dashboard.

Essential Day to Day

 Creation of new websites within AEM.
 Editing of existing websites within AEM.
 Selection of templates and components to establish site

framework within AEM.
 Building and assembly of pages within AEM..
 Replication of defined site structure (Information Architecture)
within site.
 Content management - migration of copy and images from
GCS team drives into AEM.
 Appropriate formatting of content within AEM environment -
following clear style guides to apply appropriate style classes
and rules.
 Resizing of images to optimize for weight and aesthetic.
 First-pass QA of site: content, links, browser, form success,
functional (full test script will be provided)
 Communication with PM providing migration status, defining
milestones and possible barriers to completion.
 Notifying PM where assets are incorrect or missing, or more
direction required.
 Adhere to documented processes and best practices.

Essential Skills and Nice to Haves

 1 years of related experience or Undergraduate Degree in
related discipline.
 CMS digital authoring experience within best in
class system: Ideally AEM/CQ5, otherwise WordPress,
Alterian, TeamSite, Hybris, SiteCore, Drupal etc.
 Excellent core content management skills: formatting,
structuring, tagging, linking, inserting images and video
 Proven strong web standards based HTML and CSS
 Proven understanding of the anatomy of responsive
 Photoshop slicing and image optimization.
 Web authoring tools: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver
and/or Homesite
 Strong interest in technology and creativity
 Familiar with SEO concepts and applications
 An understanding of user experience best practices
