This team is looking for a Producer to contribute his/her editorial and web production talents to the Lifestyle media group. Candidate must be an expert editor, savvy with content management tools and have excellent content planning, project management, partner management, and organizational skills. Additional requirements are: daily editorial creation of content and website production; strong editorial judgment and ability to engage a consumer audience; sensibility for cross-canvas publishing (i.e., app and web); and experience with website analytics. Passion for health & fitness, as well as experience managing editorial campaigns are significant pluses.

As a Producer, you must be able to handle multiple editorial and programming responsibilities concurrently, and work well under regular deadline pressure in a constantly evolving environment. You will be expected to work closely with peer Producers, the site Editor, and technical teams to develop and program an outstanding content line-up that contributes to high user satisfaction and engagement while maximizing revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with content partners on editorial selections.
• Editing and producing slideshows, articles and section fronts of both app and website experiences.
• Contributing fresh story ideas to a monthly editorial calendar.
• Writing compelling, fresh headlines and teasers for content promotion on homepages and social media venues.
• Working with cross-functional groups (program managers, developers, testers, designers, etc) to implement new features and processes.
• Gathering and analyzing performance data, and driving production decisions based on traffic patterns and customer feedback.

Qualified candidates must have five-plus years of online content development experience, including weekly/daily web publishing. The ideal candidate has a drive for creating rich content experiences for readers. The position requires excellent organizational, writing/editing, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to suggest and implement content initiatives and analyze results. The ideal candidate also has excellent communication skills, a good understanding of the trends and topics the online audience would find useful, entertaining and compelling. Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English or related field is a must.
