POSITION- Web Producer (not a designer)
DURATION- Long term contract (3 month probation, 1 year contract subject to renewal)
LOCATION- Downtown Toronto
HOURLY PAY RATE- $27-30, annual salary $57-60k
Industry experience- Telecomm preferred but not mandatory

The role of Web Producer is to manage the company's customer-facing online retail and self-service websites through the coordination and execution of online product launches, marketing campaigns, updating existing web content, keeping stakeholders informed and collaborating with various Business Units.

Product Catalogue (40%)
• Coordinate and execute product launches and updates (i.e. pricing) across websites according to brand guidelines, customer experience guidelines, and business requirements.

Project Management (30%)
• Be the front door to Digital Marketing requests and keep various business units updated on status of requests;
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders;
• Oversee and coordinate all web updates, production defects and projects - from small typos to designs;
• Delegate to and liaise with copywriter and designers on web content;
• Coordinate creative feedback and approvals from various stakeholders;
• Effectively and clearly delegate work on-demand to web developers and oversee progress and completion;
• Being point of contact with IT teams, as needed, during web releases.

Quality control (30%)
• Ensure all products and campaigns are tested in a conclusive manner and meet business requirements before moving to production;
• Take ownership over the quality of the website and overall digital brand experience (written content, design, information architecture, functionality and more);
• Manage website inventory and perform routine maintenance audits of website content, images, active/inactive pages and more;
• Manage and implement tracking codes across websites;

Supporting role in:
• Website redesign projects;
• Web Analytics implementation projects;

Experience and Skills
• Must have experience managing web projects;
• Web savvy with strong knowledge of usability best practices, web standards and information architecture;
• Understands of Online Marketing principles and has knowledge of Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Display Advertising and Social Media tools;
• Word, Excel, HTML, CSS are a must;
• Highly organized and able to develop and maintain streamlined processes;
• Possess good judgment, with ability to identify risks and manage expectations of multiple stakeholders based on business impact and priorities;
• Great attention to detail and highly meticulous;
• Able to manage multiple projects from beginning to end (i.e. scope, assets, resources, timelines, etc);
• Need to be flexible in highly fluid environment;
• Demonstrates initiative;
• Can work well independently and as part of a team;
• Degree in web management, communications, marketing, project management or relevant field is desirable.
