This TOP Fortune 500 Company, known for the tax & small business software, is seeking a Web Producer to join their XD team for a 6 month contract. Salary: Up to $57/hr DOE

Experience Design Producer:
As an Experience Design (XD) Producer, you facilitate design delivery across multi-disciplinary teams within a complex environment. You help gather requirements from product managers, program managers and business analysts, ensuring requirements are detailed and comprehensive enough to design against. Additionally, producers manage design project schedules, identify risks and clearly communicate goals to project stakeholders.
You’ll combine expert delivery and implementation skills with a passion for design to help evolve product and design processes. This role is based in their TurboTax experience design team with a mission to define, share and drive adoption of design-driven product development best practices. You’ll work with a cross-functional group of Product Management, Engineering, Marketing and Care as well as the experience design team.
This job requires you to be a master of planning and a flexible project manager who can balance multiple activities that often span functions and product areas. With multiple stakeholders, demanding timelines and a complex product experience, the producer must be proactive and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
• Leads day-to-day production needs for the design team including but not limited to: daily scrums, agile implementation within design, sprint planning and production/implementation of team’s designs
• Leads end-to-end ownership of design process and best practices and communicate those to TurboTax teams outside design
• Leads best practices and process improvements efforts within design team
• Clarifies design requirements and acts as a gatekeeper between design and external partners
• Communicates design-led project requirements business-wide and ensures appropriate implementation
• Assigns design tasks to manage designers’ time efficiently and allocates design resources
• Builds positive working relationships and contacts across product teams and functions
• Keeps a working knowledge of stakeholders throughout the business in order to manage design initiatives effectively

Minimum qualifications
• BA/BS in technical, business or design degree or equivalent practical experience
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in producing/project or program management or consulting experience in a digital field
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills with a high degree of product development operations mastery
• Excellent project/traffic management skills, with a track record of handling multiple customers and streams of work
• Excellent communications and influencing skills at senior executive level across different business units
• Prior product experience and/or agency background a plus

Preferred qualifications
• Experience initiating and driving large-scale design production in creative environments within an enterprise-scale organization
• Experience in change management initiatives that affect product development culture, processes and toolsets
• CSM, CSPO and/or PMI-ACP certifications a plus
• Proven success working on cross-functional teams interfacing with visual designers, interaction designers, prototypers, content designer and design researchers as well as product managers, engineers, QA and operations
