Web Operations Specialist

Our large financial services client, located in Boston, MA, is looking for a Web Operations for a 3-month contract assignment with potential for extension.

Reporting to the Value Added Programs Marketing Manager, this position will be responsible for the placement, rotation and maintenance of web content to maximize engagement with clients and prospects, as well as enhance the overall user experience, across multiple web properties.

Scope of the role may include, but is not limited to:

- Recommend website placements and promotions for content across various sites; write/edit compelling web copy for content based on promotional campaigns
- Work with the content team to understand queue and priority of content
- Provide written input to design team for creation of website banners
- Coordinate approvals from channel partners and compliance
- Work closely with web technology team to ensure content is properly posted and maintained
- Update promotional areas on various sites to ensure content is constantly fresh and accurately placed for an optimal user experience; maintain editorial calendar for posting
- Work across multiple marketing functions to ensure websites are displaying relevant and timely content. Provide feedback to appropriate teams regarding positioning of content on various sites and performance of individual pieces. Make recommendations where appropriate.
- Ensure that expired or outdated content is retired from sites in a timely manner and records are properly updated and maintained.
- Maintain matrix of content to track placements: where each piece is posted, when posted, when retiring, etc.
- Manage compliance approval process across multiple channels; ensure all proper signoffs are completed before posting live
- Manage the Continuing Education Credits Program; coordinate monthly submissions, monitor current credits for expired content, suggest new programs
- Ensure proper placement and timeliness of content across various sites with weekly site reviews and monthly audits
- Coordinate reporting requests for optimizing content on sites; update monthly and quarterly reporting

Start Time: 8:30 AM
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Qualifications:
•3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications or web site administration.
•Attention to detail with a keen eye to identify issues
•Excellent verbal and written communications skills
•Strong organizational and managerial skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize appropriately, and meet tight deadlines. •Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
•Experience in marketing or financial services preferred
