Web Operations Specialist

Our client, an award winning digital leader in the Asset Management category, is looking for a Web Operations Specialist on a 3+ month contract basis. The Web Operations Specialist will be responsible for the timely delivery of content and functionality on all of our client's digital properties and maintaining the quality of the user experience. This individual will improve and execute processes and controls to ensure a high quality site experience, performing the day-to-day tasks needed to publish and surface content within a CMS/template driven site environment, execute website quality testing and monitoring activities and web development projects (site enhancements, mobile, email campaigns, digital content, SEO). This individual will collaborate closely with all areas of the Digital Experience and Digital Technology groups. The position reports to the Manager of Web Operations.



Responsibilities:

Web Production:
•Ensure timely implementation of content production tasks.
•Monitor content production through the Marketing workflow and content lifecycles, reporting on progress and delivery/production timelines.
•Support initiatives around UAT, compliance review, and data integrity.
•Seek opportunities to enhance quality assurance monitoring and reporting.
•Support implementation of tag management strategy.
•Educate and create documentation on technical requirements in order to streamline production.
•Evaluate and implement improvements for organizational processes and platforms.

Web Development:
•Provide content management support and optimization (tagging, HTML/CSS, content capabilities).
•Participate in User Acceptance Testing for content management system enhancements.

Digital Content Management:
•Contribute to content development strategy for new and existing digital channels.
•Support implementation of SEO strategy
•Assess opportunities to enhance content pertaining to emails, PDFs, and other digital assets.
•Support homepage and article page personalization testing.
•Serve as a liaison between content creators and digital technology team.

Competencies for Success/Requirements:
•BA/BS, or highly relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
•2-3 years of experience in web production or digital content management role
•Experience with Content Management Systems (Adobe DAM, Aprimo, Brightcove), strong understanding of web-based content delivery that leverages tagging or personalization capabilities (Tealium, Monetate).
•Working knowledge of HTML,CSS, and JavaScript with a strong focus on web standards.
•Adept at multi-tasking and handling projects with many moving parts
•Maintains both exceptional focus under tight timelines, as well as attention to detail, keeping a quality and customer-first mindset.
•Strong collaboration skills, ability to work with a team as well as being able to self-direct work activities.
•Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
