Web Metrics Analyst

Essential Functions:


•Set up Google Analytics Dashboards and Funnels for eCommerce website
•Leverage Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst and strong analytical skills to compile and process data that tells a story and provides pivotal input to site improvement decisions
•Identify, develop and recommend KPIs and customer segments
•Work closely with eCommerce web team and marketing to verify website coding and validate metrics reporting for new pages and content
•Measure and report on campaign effectiveness
•Create and maintain Excel reports based upon Google Analytics data
•Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting requests
•Interpret data in meaningful ways to deliver insightful reports and presentations to management on the website’s performance
•Metrics system implementations experience a plus.

Required Skills:


•Ability to demonstrate excellent quantitative, analytic and problem solving skills; ability to translate metrics into actionable proposals
•Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail and quality
•Ability to demonstrate advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (especially pivot tables) and PowerPoint charts
•Ability to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
•Demonstrate ability to be self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction
•Demonstrate ability to be flexible and can work well in small teams in a cross functional environment.

Experience:


•2-3 year’s minimum of Google Analytics experience – analyzing data, building dashboards/segments, generating reports and charts, performing ad hoc analysis in the tool
•3-5 years analytics experience
•Some exposure to SiteCatalyst metric system
•Metrics system implementations experience a plus
•Experience in measurement and data analysis from business and marketing perspectives

Education:

Bachelor's Degree
