Web Marketing Specialist

Our Client is a highly successful global player in the high-tech electronic industry. With an ever changing landscape of customers and markets, shifts between local and international our client is looking for a strong Web marketing specialist for their European Headquarters.

In this role you will be primarily responsible for the companies European websites and their involvement within the wider marketing strategy. The two main objectives of this role are to use the corporate websites as effective communication platform for new product launches and marketing campaigns. Second is the development and improvement of the overall UX of the websites.
The Web marketing specialist will not only need to take a top level strategy and work out a web-strategy from that. He or she will then have to develop marketing concepts for activities via the European websites.

The goal will be to create a website which fully supports the role that web plays in achieving business objectives, improves brand perception, as well as ensures message consistency across Europe. As part of the role, a complete audit and understanding of current level of activity in local countries is required. Implementation of measurements and analysis to ensure that the website is developing according to plan is of course a key area as well.

Your profile:
- 4-5 years in Communications, with main focus on managing corporate websites across multiple countries
- Major web redesign project coordination experience in a consumer electronics and/or consumer goods and/or FMCG organisation desirable
- Demonstrates a track record in planning, designing, implementing, executing and evaluating high quality & effective web content platforms
- Understands not only the communication and content part, but also the technical back-end side of the platform
- Solid verbal and written communication skills (fluency in English required), other languages desirable, ability to communicate with people at all levels, good presenter
- Interpersonal skills and ability to build trust and interact with people from different cultural backgrounds
- Strong agency management skills
- Proactive approach to high quality customer service delivery
- Business acumen, results driven and “hunger” for success
