Web Marketing Manager

One of Aquent's valued energy clients is seeking a highly motivated Web Marketing Manager for North America that will manage their US website. The Web Marketing Manager must demonstrate a proficiency in Microsoft Excel, deep knowledge of SEO, SEM and Business Analytics as well as an understanding of the importance of adhering to corporate branding and coding standards for an energy company.

SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Web Marketing Manager for North America will manage the US website, a major source of leads for the organization. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving web campaigns in collaboration with content owners to design web content that will drive SEO value and more visitors to the site as well as provide an engaging user experience for improved lead conversion. The Web Marketing Manager will be responsible for providing insight and recommendations based on SEO and Analytics reports for the US websites. This role will also be responsible for content management best practices and for training content owners in our content management system, Fatwire.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
• Manage day-to-day web marketing activities, including campaign planning and execution, to optimize websites to drive organic leads
• Interpret marketing requirements into web requirements to interface and communicate with the development team
• Optimize, edit and create corporate content on US website
• Evaluates technical feasibility of solution options, recommend approach and lead development teams through implementation
• Assist with creating and maintaining an SEO roadmap or keyword expansion roadmap based on new developments, competitive landscape working with the segment marketing teams to develop relevant campaigns and content
• Perform ongoing site audit for SEO best practice compliance
• Work with design team to provide IA and site design recommendations
• Assist with link analysis and link building
• Identify opportunities to improve organizational processes for web support and SEO
• Integrate strategies and recommendations into other active marketing channels such as Email Marketing, SEM, Social and PR
• Provide user guides and train content owners in Fatwire

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
• 3+ years web marketing/ business analyst experience
• Bachelors Degree in Business related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. spreadsheet formatting, pivot tables, graphs)
• Deep knowledge and interest in SEO, SEM, blogs, and business analytics
• Expertise with web development platforms and technical tools
• Data-driven decision-maker; able to test and iterate on website optimizations and drive key metrics.
• Able to learn new concepts/software and get up to speed very quickly
• Self-starter, very organized and proactive and resourceful in carrying out work assignments and following through
• Ability to communicate professionally with internal customers and all levels of staff, across countries and time zones

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
• Omniture, FatWire or other content management systems and use of salesforce.com experience is preferred
• Strong understanding of search engine-friendly web design and ability to make critical design and technical recommendations/changes; web platform experience including content management
