Web Manager

Under the supervision and guidance of the Digital Marketing Manager, the Web Manager is responsible for collecting, organizing, editing, and inputting content and product into the CMS tools for the brand web sites. This person will work with the Digital Marketing Manager and the Integrated Marketing Team to get Legal and Marketing approval and will assist with web projects that help reach marketing goals and keep the editorial calendars up to date.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:
• Maintain all content and products on the website including adding and modifying information and other site content via web based forms
• Work with Graphic Designer to prepare images, videos, and text for the website
• Create and update editorial calendars with direction from the Digital Marketing Manager
• Work closely on projects with managers to assure that content promotes objectives
• Coordinate with IT to implement content and assure technical feasibility
• Complete updates and maintenance of site content utilizing web based tool set
• Create copy for Web specific features using existing materials and through research
• Facilitate seamless integration with editorial and graphics
• Assist Digital Marketing Manager with content/functionality testing and user experience
• Help develop components (i.e. text, graphics, interactive tools) that are necessary to deliver, manage, and implement marketing strategy
• Work with Field Marketing Managers and other staff to manage store information in database
• Implement SEO recommendations and monitor site traffic for trends
• Assist Digital Marketing Manager implementing social media tools and strategies
• Facilitate vendor workflow to meet brand needs and help manage vendor relations Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of Web site content maintenance/Web content optimization including graphics, images, and copy
• Understanding of consumer web site goals and objectives and business goals for each division
• Quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and web site launch procedures
• Project management and process documentation
• Web site enhancement and content change planning
• Excellent written and oral communication skills Software and Technical Skills:
• Use of Web Content Management Systems (IBM Websphere a plus but not required)
• Experience with HTML and JavaScript a plus
• Technical experience with troubleshooting Web site errors and content issues
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical co-workers about site issues and resolution
• Dreamweaver, FrontPage, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or related software experience
• MS Access knowledge a plus but not required
• Knowledge of SEO best practices a plus but not required
