The web team at our client is looking for a Web Experience Manager, that is responsible for managing work in our CMS (currently Expression Engine but we will be moving to Adobe Experience Manager). This is a position that will work closely with a variety of teams across the Marketing organization worldwide to create personalized, impactful, social-friendly website experiences for desktop and mobile. They will serve as a strategic liaison among creative, development, QA, and content teams. This will be a long-term contract position for up to a year, potentially to hire.

The Web Experience Manager is responsible for owning experiences that are aligned with the content owner’s business goals. We are looking for work that is impactful for our business and all targeted audiences. They must be an effective communicator, detail-oriented with a commitment to solid technical infrastructure and cutting-edge web technologies as well as being able to identify and sell innovative ideas to internal clients. The Web Experience Manager must also balance and champion innovation, brand, technical consistency, and lead-generation efforts.

Responsibilities:
Partner with greater digital marketing team (both in Burlington and Corporate in San Francisco) to prioritize work that aligns with overall marketing strategy for stakeholders
Understand past and current performance of website to make informed recommendations
Strike a balance between pushing the limits of innovation while maintaining overall health of business
Understanding of creative process from design to delivery across multiple teams (Strategy, Analytics, UX, Design, Content, SEO, Localization)
Partner with stakeholders to deliver digital campaigns optimized for lead generation and conversion within brand guidelines

Requirements:
You have hands-on experience managing web and content production in a CMS environment (Expresssion Engine, Adobe Experience Manager, OpenCMS, Joomla, Drupal, Sitecore, etc.). You have worked closely and understand information architecture, user experience, interaction design, visual design initiatives, analytics/testing and development (including mobile). You are able to leverage the hands-on experience to consult and guide stakeholders.
You have experience hand-coding semantically correct CSS and HTML in an enterprise CMS environment
Five to seven years experience in web production.
Ability to troubleshoot technical problems logically and systematically.
Ability to work against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously. You can push back on deadlines, scope of work thoughtfully and gracefully.
You are a ‘consumer’ of data and analytics and know how to use it to your advantage.
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to “turn on a dime”, think through problems to come up with innovative solutions and deliver against very tight deadlines while keeping a keen eye on detail and accuracy.
Expert level knowledge of HTML and CSS as well as online graphics production (understands balance between quality vs performance)
