Web Developer- Front End

Our client is a well known state of the art consumer electronics company in Westborough, MA. They have asked us to help identify a WEB DEVELOPER for a LONG TERM engagement.

KEY POINTS:
1. XSL/XSLT Development (must be recent)

2. Enterprise level CMS experience (Interwoven/Teamsite or similar)

3. Front End Development skills: Javascript, HTML5, CSS3

Responsibilities:
• Act as a key driver in the development, configuration and modification of onsite content on all website applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional staff (designers, writers, business managers, project managers, CMS developers, and e-Commerce system programmers) to implement a variety of web content solutions.
• Translate business and creative requirements into functional requirements to enable efficient development of web content solutions.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Produce excellent markup (xhtml, XSL, XSLT) for use in JSP and HTML pages, as well as markup to be used in the implementation of CMS Presentation Templates (Interwoven TeamSite)
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs related to content and system integration issues. Fix issues resulting from QA testing. Provide guidance, as needed, to other functional resources related to troubleshooting system integration issues.

Skills:
• Excellent markup skills required! – XSL, XSLT and XML
• Strong front end technology skills: HTML, XHTML, Javascript, AJAX and CSS (no WYSIWYG editors used).
• Experience with enterprise content management systems strongly desired
• Experience with JSP, J2EE multi-tiered environments, Flash & ActionScript preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of browser versions and operating systems as they relate to markup methods.

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
