Aquent's client is looking for a mixture of a Web Designer/Developer This person will have the below qualities and also will be willing to adapt easily to change and welcome it!!!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for delivering optimum user experience (UX) in site design through effective planning, including clarifying goals and designing best navigation and functionality.
• Provide consultation, design and updates to eCommerce microsites and retail partner sites in order to fulfill contractual obligations for marketing materials and co-branding; other design for eCommerce partners (i.e. airlines, hotels, online or retail travel agencies, event ticket sellers, etc.) may include booking path mockups, email, banners, etc.
• Design pages and adding/updating imagery or other content, links, etc.; will also assist the marketing technology team with digital design and marketing of proprietary travel agent booking site.
• Design and code all digital/web advertising needs such as banners, imagery, icons, audio/video enhancements
• Design and code all email marketing campaigns for B2C and B2B needs; fully understand usability and functionality of email marketing system for programming of more robust, complex and personalized marketing campaigns in order to make recommendations on best practices specifically for design and integration with Salesforce
• Work collaboratively with managers, project manager, copywriter, graphic designer and Marketing team to deliver web-based and non-web-based marketing materials for all channels (B2B & B2B2C) in a timely manner
• Update electronic brochures and provide assistance with various graphic design projects as needed to meet or exceed SLAs; includes immersion sessions or other projects related to new business development or organic growth for eCommerce partners
• Understand the needs of leisure and business travelers, and related eCommerce & Retail partners, in order to recommend and execute best practices for web development
• Manage multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced yet fun work environment and continually learn digital and industry best practices for UX and web design and development
• Document all web processes including log in and accessibility requirements; organize all digital assets and materials according to compliance regulations
• Update and maintain all projects within project management/task-based software, ensuring all SLAs are met or exceeded
• May perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
• 2-5 years experience in web design, coding and graphic design
• Bachelors in computer/information science, web design, interactive media or related field preferred; similar associates degree with appropriate experience considered
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript general front-end web design and programming, image editing, animation, digital design (jQuery is a plus)
• Proficiency in creating web-based designs for multiple screen sizes, including mobile and responsive designs
• Expected to present design concepts and deliverables
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign and Photoshop); skills include web graphic design, design planning, web user interface design (UI), security principles, multi-media content development, web programming skills, illustration tools, multimedia content development, cross-browser compatibility, verbal communication/teamwork
• Knowledge and utilization of general office software, email marketing and web-based project/task assignment software required (Microsoft Office Suite, Silverpop or similar email marketing software, Workfront)
• Passion for producing high-quality, well-thought out work in fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of travel and insurance industry a plus; important to understand regulated industries like insurance/financial services.
