Our client, an innovative software development company, is seeking a mid-level, talented Web Designer to join a great team with a collaborative work culture. The ideal Web Designer will apply a fun, flashy and cool aesthetic to 2-3 landing pages per week, 2-3 web-based games, and set of creative to go along with them. This is an onsite, contract-to-hire role. The Web Designer will be the only designer (no AD/CD) in the start up company, and will mainly create/produce landing pages and banner ads on a daily basis.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to effectively interpret business needs and develop creative that suits the marketing of various apps. Websites and display ads will be needed for a large variety of products, requiring continual changes to optimize and maximize performance. The candidate must be able to manage multiple projects and implement changes in a fast, dynamic manner.

Duties:
Design multiple versions of static and animated flash and GIF ads for testing purposes.
Create websites and help implement A/B and multivariate testing. Ensure landing page designs convey a compelling brand, while also incorporating direct response principles to support conversion optimization.
Help build out landing pages using Unbounce, a user-friendly landing page design tool (WYSIWYG-like).
Research, evaluate, recommend, launch, test, and optimize ad creative and landing pages.
Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts to test and implement.

We’re ideally looking for someone who embraces the gaming industry and is passionate about incorporating direct marketing and conversion into his/her designs.
