Web Designer UI/UX

A Major Fortune 500 Cloud Company in San Jose has a need for a Web/UI/UX Designer to work with Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Product Management to enhance the User Interface and User Experience associated with the organization's website, as well as with creating a new UI/UX product/solution demonstrations.

Responsibilities:
• Work with Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, Marcom, Sales Enablement, and Program Management to design and build an updated User Interface and Experience for the internal website, used to distribute and maintain all product/solution collateral and communications.
• Create a Web enabled self Service ordering UI
• Use existing demo assets from as foundation.
• Enhance visual experience to highlight and demonstrate the key value propositions and features of all products and solutions.
• A mobile experience is key, must be iPad/tablet enabled.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing and Product Management to create storyboards and PowerPoint slides for product/solution demonstrations and videos, as well as set project timeframes and deliverables

Qualifications:

Candidates should have 4-5 years of Web and UI/UX related design experience or equivalent. Candidates will also have a strong balance of design skills and technical expertise, an outstanding portfolio, and experience in:
• UML, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, BootStrap/ZK Framework, JavaScript and other rich platforms
• Extensive experience with the Adobe Creative apps, including Illustrator, Dream Weaver, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Oracle’s WebCenter Content UI and CMS
• Strong portfolio of beautiful user interfaces for web, tablet and phone (iOS and Android)

Candidates must have the following skills and abilities:
• Willing to initiate, suggest, and spearhead major UI re-factorings for a more intuitive user-experience
• Able to design elegant, intuitive solutions to complex workflows. Design things that people will talk about
• Act as the user-advocate during the development process, subjecting early-stage designs to usability testing or expert review, and offering implementation suggestions from a user-centered perspective
• Act as “go to” with in-depth knowledge of user interface best practices and standards. Use research-related services, theories and methods to support your recommendations
• Take the initiative in providing input and feedback in both departmental discussions and on issues relating to other departments
• Develop wireframes, behavioral specifications and personas
• As this person will manage designs and assets across multiple mobile platforms, it is essential to be detail oriented and organized
• Strong skills in generating final art assets, storyboards, and detailed specifications for development teams
• Excellent knowledge of emerging trends and visual design styles
• Motivated, dynamic, creative and results-oriented
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
