Web Designer (Mid level)

Vitamin T's client is a digital marketing agency located in Glendale, and is seeking a Jr. to Mid level Web Designer for a Temp to Perm opportunity on-site to start as soon as 9/3.

Pay: around $28/hr + DOE (flexible) - Please note hourly rate and salary requirement when applying.

They would like to hire a Web Designer to become a part of their in-house team. This is definitely temp to start, but does have the ability to become perm if you work out.

They want someone who understands the basics of web design, but who will also be willing and able to help with production needs when they arise. (They have a lean team.)

This person needs to be very comfortable with front end design and they would ideally like someone with experience designing for responsive sites (web, mobile, tablet).

*Any parallax experience is a huge plus.

*This person won't be responsible for coding anything. They have a development shop they use and hand everything off to.

*You need to be flexible and willing to jump from project to project and handle multiple projects at once.

*Really looking for someone with a clean design style and who's comfortable working on corporate sites. Their clients tend to like things elegant and simple.

*Expert knowledge of the latest Adobe Creative Suite (CS5) along with basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Flash (you don't need to do any hands on coding)
*Experience as part of interdisciplinary teams, including Developers, Visual Designers and Copywriters
*Conceptualize and articulate innovative design approaches
*Solid user interface (UI) and online concepting skills
*Utilize current web standards to translate graphic design into compelling, functional web content
*Deliverables include full sites, microsites, online advertising, social media initiatives, mobile apps, and more
*Design and develop new user interfaces
