LOCATION: Westlake Village, CA / Onsite
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Chief Technology Officer

You will participate as part of talented team designing and developing the compelling UI to expose our rich functionality to non-technical users via your graceful and intuitive designs. Using your talents you will craft user experiences for web, mobile, and email platforms. You should possess a unique blend of business and design savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. Right Candidate must demonstate experience designing for more complex data interaction…think about asking a question and getting back data and images presented back in a logical and appealing fashion that invite further investigation (filtering data) or interacting with results (responding to data and recommendations).


What you will be doing:

Understanding how our technology meets user needs and help simplify workflows
Designing pages and features for new functionalities that integrate with current look/feel
Enhancing existing site design to accommodate new features and/or simplify existing functionalities
Engaging directly with front-end developers and software engineers to understand and fully incorporate designs needs of features and functionalities
Refining and keeping up design library and patterns
Styling pages with CSS
Assisting with basic, styling-related javascript & html
Assisting in creating/updating requirements as needed

Job Requirements:

Expert-level understanding of best practices in usability, accessibility and web standards
4 or more years of digital experience, agency preferred
Expert in User Interface and Experience (UI/UX)
Fluent knowledge of the Adobe suite of products
Skilled at creating concepts for web, landing pages, email, banners, etc.
Strong graphics manipulation/optimization skills using Photoshop, Illustrator. etc.
Strong organizational and estimation skills
A sophisticated sense of design/style, (including type, image, color, and structure).
Demonstrated ability to translate complex design requirements into clear, customer-friendly online experiences.
You don’t let tight deadlines faze you and you are able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to understand and work from use cases, wireframes and work-flow diagrams and functional specifications or fill-in based on your business savvy understanding to produce designs in a fluid situations
Must be flexible when tight deadlines loom and demonstrate the ability to work well with both creative and corporate minds
