Our client is looking for a designer who can help with concepts for home a page improvement project. The primary aim is to make it more mobile-friendly and less busy without deviating too far from their existing framework and brand styles (no stock imagery, no photography, some icons and brand illustrations are available). This designer will work closely with the Director of Marketing Technology, taking a utilitarian approach with usability and user experience, and focus on concepting and working out all the details of the improved home page. 

Main responsibilities include:
-Concepting, wireframes, mockups that are viewable in browser (vs. PDF)
-Looking at the existing homepage, and presenting 3 or 4 directions to make it better across web and mobile 
-Develop assets for the chosen direction
-No coding required but helpful you understand or can do some front end coding 
-Able to work within the brand guidelines and push the limits 

Other responsibilities may include:
-Design for mobile, desktop, and wide screen viewports 
-Reveal Get a Quote button on mobile 
-Elevate services and benefits over resource articles 
-Optimize for SEO (medical malpractice in H1s, etc.) 
-Simplify color palette (but within existing brand colors) 
-Adhere to existing brand standards 
-Maintain overall page framework and functionality 
-Use existing navigation, header, and footer 
-Plan for featured content 
-Prominent, easy to update (e.g., the hero banner) 
-Stories and feature content to support brand promise 
-Establish clear entry points for important user roles (personas) 
-Clearly identified click targets 
-Differentiated from static contents 
-Prioritized/ranked 

Must Have: 
-Photoshop expertise 
-Concepting, wireframes, mockups
-2-4 years of design experience 

Nice to Have: 
-Understanding of or can do some front end coding
