Brand aesthetic. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior user interface design skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional digital designs.
The digital designer is responsible for the visual elements of Bare Escentuals digital marketing, including email, website, and mobile. This includes but is not limited to the following areas of responsibility
Manage the design, layout and production of all email marketing messages.
Design modern email templates optimized for mobile display
Collaborate with digital team to execute email marketing schedule, creating and deploying campaigns on a regular basis.
Create banner ads, retargeting content, and affiliate marketing content that is intuitive, represents our brand, and drives sales to our website
Create and manage visual elements throughout our website, including brand, promotional, and product images.
Collaborate with programming team to improve website design elements, with an emphasis on usability and user interface
Maintain organized cataloging and storage of all image files
Knowledge of website design including HTML and CSS
Strong web UI / UX skills
Degree in web design or related field (equivalent work experience considered)
3-5 years of work experience in this field
Email marketing experience a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
Great attitude - positive, collaborative, self-starter
