Web Designer | Developer

Company seeks talented Web Designer / Developer to support the company’s web, mobile and social media presence by providing technical design and support for marketing activities within these channels. The Web Designer / Developer is a full-time, on-site role. The Web Designer / Developer will actively participate in the creative process in order to help meet the company’s web and social media initiatives.

Job Tasks:
- Design (Web, Email & Social Media)
- Provide graphical designs for interactive, new media projects related to Web, mobile and social media. (For example, mobile app designs, web banner, landing pages, e-mail templates.)
- Create and update designs for company’s social presence, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media channels, as needed.
- Utilize new media and technology tools to support marketing/social media campaigns by creating design elements for such tools (widgets, contest landing pages, RSS feeds).
- Design for websites using CSS and HTML to continually enhance the customer experience and align with corporate objectives.
- Assist in lighter coding projects as needed such as the ability to update website page content.
- Staying current on social media/new media trends, researching new social media tools to implement, and interface with vendors as needed.
- Design and code HTML e-mail templates for all brands, adhering to brand standards.

Technical Support & Analytics
- Provide Exact Target system support and trouble shooting for email campaigns and newsletters, as needed.
- Leverage content management system technology to update website advertisements across sites, develop page templates, and provide technical support, as needed.
- Track & report results for website activity using web analytics tools. Helps maintain website performance by managing broken links process and reporting ongoing status of issues to marketing leaders and IT.

Project Management
- Participate in 2-3 large web/design projects, and 4-6 smaller projects at a time.
- Work closely with marketing leaders/business owners to understand business objectives in order to provide creative support and recommendations for best user experience.
- Partner with other departments to provide design components, and to resolve technical issues on websites.
