Our client is seeking a Web Content Writer to develop content, as well as, plan and implement online, program-specific social media strategies to build awareness and communities of interest around diversity training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, write, edit, and maintain Web site content.
• Develop and actively maintain/monitor social media presence, social platforms for relevant communities of practice (e.g., grantees, trainees, early-stage investigators), including moderating user comments.
• Engage in Web communications research to stay up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices to ensure the client remains on the cutting edge of effective online communications.
• Provide technical advice on the design, conduct, and evaluation of communications efforts.
• Define the metrics and create periodic analyses providing performance feedback to guide online strategies and tactics.

Social Media:
• Identify target audiences and implement optimal strategies to post content, generate online traffic and discussion, and increase loyalty of followers on social media channels such as Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, and more.
• Produce and manage digital and print information for a variety of meetings, expos, workshops, and social media events, including live tweeting of events.
• Work with various communications staff to ensure that social media is integrated strategically with new content production and outreach strategies.
